Salvia cacaliifolia

Probably easiest to describe this by comparing it to Salvia patens, it has the same bright blue flowers all summer and autumn (although the flowers are a bit smaller) the main difference being in the growth habit, S. patens is stiff and upright and grows from tubers, whilst Salvia cacaliifolia has a running root like mint and is more floppy. Tender, it needs to be brought into shelter for the winter.
